Most of these services are provided free to the elderly and disabled who are eligible for the state\u2019s Medicaid Waiver program.<\/p>\n These in-home caregivers are placed in the home to help with a person\u2019s personal care, light housekeeping, errands and shopping, cooking, and to provide companionship.<\/p>\n If you are at least 18 years old, need help in your home, and think you might be eligible for an in-home caregiver, please call the toll free number at the bottom of the page and speak with a nurse to help you through the application process.
